JACQUERA SERIES | YANIC NYS
The first works in the JACQUERA series were created in 2021.
The series consists of large monochromatic transparently layered abstract paintings on canvas in acrylic paint, gel mediums and ink.
The paintings are created by superimposing multiple transparent layers of color in acrylic paint over a base layer that defines the structure of the painting. This method creates a subtle depth that generates a different feeling with every incidence of light
The series is never finished and new works are added as inspiration strikes.
